Friday Five for Donna

Today's Friday Five, as always, from Miz Booshay

Appetizer
Who was the last person you hugged?
A double hug with both my Girl and my Boy, in a poor attempt to get them to stop fighting for a minute this morning.

Soup
Would you ever have plastic surgery?
No, not for looks, but I have considered reconstructive surgery for my poor mangled nose, which would be done by a plastic surgeon.

Salad
What do you like to order from your favorite fast food place?
Dang, I have too many fast food places! A loaded, drippy burger from Herfy's with fried zukes on the side, or a loaded pizza, or orange chicken.

Main Course
What time of day do you usually feel most energized?
From about 10 in the morning to about noon.

Dessert
When you were a kid, what job did you most want to have when you grew up?
Well, at one time, all I wanted to be was a gazelle, lol. That translated into being a ballet dancer, but my body has never been the right shape for that. Then I wanted to be an artist, and an early childhood ed teacher. I also wanted to be a mom and adopt all my kids.

Okay now, I would really like to see some answer in the comments, or some links to your blog, if you haven't already done this at Donna's, okay?

TTFN,
LB

You sure had a lot of ambition as a child!

Have you had a chance to start reading Zippy's book?

No, it hasn't come from the library yet. I have been very tempted to go buy it, but after spending $600. on books in the last month, I feel a little guilty!
I need to put it on my Autumn reading list, so that I *have* to go buy it!

I love that you wanted to be a gazelle! I wanted to be a writer. Or Nancy Drew.

Yae, a LB post! I love coming in and finding these in the morning. I was out of town most of last week for work, so it’s an especially sweet treat to get a morning dose of one of my favorite families!

Your children fighting? I still choose to see them in my minds eye as the blissful and loving cherubs there are in my heart :)

LB as a gazelle?! Well sure! Michael and I were in drama together in High School, our class use to spend a day at the zoo each year observing animals and then return to school and reenact them individually for our class mates. Great movement exercise and way to get out of self, especially for self conscious High Schoolers!

Who was the last person you hugged?
Prince Charming ~ first thing this morning after me and the kitties chirped "time to rise and shine and welcome the morning!"

Soup
Would you ever have plastic surgery?
No, unless it was life and death or I had some major life/psyche change! Anything medical especially with needles totally freaks me out!

Hmmm..... how do we define fast food? I'm not into the traditional burger and fry places, but I do like the neighborhood Thai place that makes a quick lunch of cashew chicken over brown rice!

I think I'm with LB. Mid morning, 10 to noon. ...but ya know, I am starting to realize, a lot has to do with who I am with and what I have put in my body. If I am hanging with the prince and staying away from white flour and sugar, I can pretty much go go go...if its work and too many processed carbs, I am looking for a nap. Hmmmm.... Guess Ma and Grama were right again...... darn it!

When you were a kid, what job did you most want to have when you grew up?
A wonderful loving marriage and a home in paradise. Sounds old fashion, and the woman that were around influencing me then were, but ya know, it really is more fabulous than I thought it would be, even with my more modern, evolved sensibilities.

Hey Sweetie! I'll give you a call in a bit. I was on the phone w/ Zorak when you called this morning and he said, "Oh, yeah, that reminds me, LB called yesterday..."

*sigh* It's a good thing he's cute.

Love ya!
