Tidbits: Run-on sentences, and Questions of the Day.

Cat-lovers, what can I do to keep my cats off my tables? Is there some "place" I can create for them in my studio that they will be able to share my space with me, in a way that doesn't mean cat dander on my art and art-making space? That was my run-on sentence of the day, and my sincere question of the day to you.

Peace from the studio depths,
LB

How about a cage? *L*

Other than that, I can't think of a thing.......OR, put them on "guide ribbons" attached to their collars that let them only reach so far into the room - that might have possibilities

There's not a gosh darn thing you can do about it. Believe me I've tried. I've got one that won't quit going on the kitchen counters and up on the fridge and then up on top of the cupboards. My advice....invest in lint rollers.

LB, I have a box for you waiting to go out in the mail on my kitchen. :) I did get your address we are just up to our ears in harvest, winterizing our house, and various other things that involve vomit.

Cats.....we use a spray bottle to discourage our cat to get off the tables, but when working with art----spraying water? Not so good. Cats do as they like. Paint often smells fishy. It attracts them.

Good luck. I usually just ban kitty from my workspace while working! :)

Yep, spray bottle. Our babies were trained with them when they were small and with their first family. Now, if reinforcement is needed, we don't even have to really spray, we can just pretend and they dash away. I think consistency is the key. We can't let them for awhile and then say no. Kinda like parenting, eh?

Well, at least your babies are adorable :) and hopefully quite teachable!

Create a great day dear one,
